Cascade For White Whites
Keeping whites white is one of the toughest laundry issues we face. Try using a little Liquid Cascade Dishwasher Detergent in those really dingy loads. It takes out grass stains and colored dies from drinks and popsicles. Your whites will be brilliant!

Thinking back on Halloweens from the past, one of the things I remember fondly are red, shiny, sweet, delicious Candy Apples. Making this old favorite is simple, nostalgic, Halloween fun. (It’s also nice to be able to stick a piece of fruit in, amidst all the sugar.) Searching for a recipe, I found this one from 1960 and thought I’d share. It’s a pretty easy recipe but please remember to be extra careful anytime your kids are helping around the hot stove. You should also know that the candy mixture will be extremely hot and it’s probably not a good idea to let the little ones participate in the dipping process. Have fun and enjoy!
